Pediatric Hospitalists of South Florida, the sole provider of pediatric hospitalist services at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, is looking for two dynamic and energetic BE/BC pediatricians: one for all shifts and one nocturnist. PHM certification is preferred but not required. Clinically, Joe DiMaggio has a robust service with a wide breadth of pathology, including patients with chronic and complex medical problems. Additionally, the practice is involved in the medical education of pediatric residents and medical students. Practice provides 24/7 in-house coverage along with pediatric critical care and pediatric emergency medicine physicians.
This is an employed position with Florida Coastal Pediatrics. The group offers a flexible shift structure and competitive salary. For the nocturnist position, compensation is reflective of nighttime work. Benefits include malpractice insurance, paid vacation, paid time and expenses for CME, a generous pension plan, health insurance, life insurance, and vision and dental insurance, as well as reimbursement for work related costs such as license and dues.

The eight-story, nearly 400,000-square-foot, environmentally friendly facility features state-of-the-art patient rooms, cardiac hybrid operating rooms, surgical and interventional radiology suites, intensive care and cardiac intensive care units, intraoperative MRI, family resource and respite spaces, ambulatory services, imaging services that feature a CT scanner disguised as a pirate ship, and inpatient and outpatient pediatric oncology treatment.
