Medical Director, Pediatric Cardiac Transplant, Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy Programs
The Heart Institute at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital (JDCH) is seeking an experienced leader to become the Medical Director of the Pediatric Cardiac Transplant, Heart Failure, and Cardiomyopathy Programs. The Heart Transplant Program was started in 2010 and has become the second busiest program in the state of Florida. The physician must be board-certified in Pediatric Cardiology and have demonstrated expertise managing end-stage and advanced heart failure, both medically and utilizing mechanical circulatory support (MCS) and caring for cardiac transplant patients. Ideal candidates would have seven (7) years of post-training clinical experience and preferably two (2) years of leadership experience.
