Pediatric Hematology focused Faculty position, Children’s Hospital at Montefiore The Pediatric Hematology Program is a section of the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Cellular Therapy at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, the hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  The Division sees an average of about 750 children with sickle cell disease (SCD), the largest pediatric sickle cell program in the New York metropolitan area.  Gene therapy for both sickle cell disease (clinical trial) and transfusion-dependent thalassemia (commercial product) are onboarded and will be available for patients.
