Division Chief, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/Blood and Marrow Transplantation
The Baylor College of Medicine is seeking an outstanding physician to serve as Division Chief and lead the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/Blood and Marrow Transplantation for Baylor College of Medicine-San Antonio (BCM-SA) at CHRISTUS Children’s in San Antonio. The successful candidate will assume the title of Howard A. Britton Endowed Chair in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Highlights: BCM-SA established its partnership with the CHRISTUS Health System in 2013 coincident with the transformation of CHRISTUS Children’s into San Antonio’s only free-standing academic children’s hospital. The division currently consists of 8 physicians; two are assigned full time to marrow transplant activities. There is a newly-approved hematology/oncology fellow
