MercyOne Northeast Iowa has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology Oncology physician to join our cancer treatment team located in Waterloo, Iowa.

The selected candidate will join MercyOne Waterloo Cancer Center, the only comprehensive, accredited, and multidisciplinary cancer treatment center in 10 counties. Radiation oncology, radiation therapy, infusion clinic, pharmacy and pharmacist are all on-site. The 13-chair Infusion Center offers private infusion suites with chemo-certified nurses. The integrated oncology service participates in cooperative clinic trials and weekly tumor boards. The cancer center is part of a 366-bed hospital covering eight counties and approximately 280,000 residents.

The schedule for this full-time opportunity includes 36 patient contact hours per week. Call is 1:3 (nurse triage handles most calls).

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

• Employed multi-specialty group of more than 180 providers in northeast Iowa – physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners with established referral patterns
• $550K three-year guarantee + Production Incentive (providers typically exceed guarantee within 6 months)
• Income potential $600K+ on production
• $50K Starting Bonus
• $15K Relocation Allowance
• $25K Longevity Bonus year 2
• Full benefits package including paid malpractice and tail coverage, paid CME/vacation/holidays up to 31 days/year, 403(b), 457(b), disability insurance
