SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Penn State Health Community Medical Group is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to join Andrews Patel Hematology / Oncology located in Camp Hill and Harrisburg. This individual will work in collaboration with other Physicians and APPs within the practice providing care to adult patients with a broad range of hem/onc diagnoses. The APP will support patients undergoing in-office treatment and may participate on the hospital rounding team. Prior hematology/oncology experience is preferred but not required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.
• National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Relevant experience preferred.
