Position Summary

This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Bone Marrow transplant (BMT) program and the Survivor Management Program involving patients, outside entities and the interdisciplinary BMT team. This position collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and various outside entities in order to obtain information, documentation, and data required prior to patients presenting to the BMT team for consideration and evaluation as a possible candidate for Bone Marrow Transplant.

Education
  • Associates Degree in Nursing ADN (Required)
  • Bachelors in Nursing (Required)
  • Masters in Nursing (Preferred)
Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of related nursing experience (Required)
  • Experience with bone marrow transplant and hematology-oncology populations (Required)
Certifications
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare (Required)
  • APHON Biotherapy and Chemotherapy certification within 6 months of hire (Required)
Special Skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting. Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment to achieve maximum operating efficiency required. (Required)
