The Section of Pediatric Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Surgeon to expand their tertiary academic clinical practice, including outreach to community group practices. The Department of Surgery and Dartmouth Health Children's provide comprehensive neonatal and pediatric surgical care. CHD is an American College of Surgeons level 2 pediatric trauma center, has a level 3 NICU, and provides PICU and pediatric subspecialty services. Regional pediatric oncology care is provided in conjunction with the Dartmouth Cancer Center, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center.

Qualified candidates will participate in education of general surgery and pediatrics residents as well as students at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. There are opportunities for research collaboration with Children’s Hospitals’ Solutions for Patient Safety National Network, The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice, and the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth. Appointments to the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications.
