To help you begin your career as an oncologist with us, we are happy to currently offer a $45,000 sign-on incentive, and up to $75,000 in student loan repayment for qualified candidates.

Your day.

As a Physician in Medical Oncology youâ™ll work with 3 other Medical Oncologists and 3 Radiation Oncologists to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day youâ™ll collaborate with three Advanced Practice Providers, Nurse Navigators, MAs, strategic leadership support, Pharmacists, Social Workers, and Chaplains.

• You would practice at St. Maryâ™s Hospital's Regional Cancer Center in Grand Junction, CO


• Your clinic hours will be 8 am â“ 5 pm four days a week with one admin day


• Youâ™ll be on call one in four weeks

In oncology, every day is different, thatâ™s why youâ™ll need to know how to:

• Provide and manage direct patient care in clinic, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment


• Manage the inpatient service while on call one in four weeks


• Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens 

Your experience.

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine


• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology / Oncology


• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one


• Ability to successfully complete St. Maryâ™s credentialing process
