Registered Nurse - Hematology and Oncology
The Hematology/Oncology Registered Nurse provides care for cancer patients and those at risk for getting the disease. RN's working in this specialty outpatient clinic have been evaluated as competent and hold a current Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) issued Chemotherapy/Biotherapy provider card or are an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN). These RN's must maintain a cancer-specific knowledge base and clinical expertise in cancer care. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language
