Texas Oncology is looking to add a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to maintain their busy five physician practice in Dallas, Texas, with an expected retirement of one of the partners.  Anticipated start date is Summer/Fall 2022.

We are searching for a person with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.  All members of our team participate in caring for the entire spectrum of pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, including stem cell transplant patients.

Our institution is a member of the Children’s Oncology Group and our Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant program is FACT approved.  We have an active research program, including early phase trials.

We offer a highly competitive compensation package with generous benefits including paid health, disability, and malpractice insurance as well as a 401K plan.

Inpatient and outpatient care is provided primarily at Medical City Dallas Children’s Hospital, in a new, state-of-the art dedicated oncology unit. We also have a satellite practice located at Children’s Medical Center Plano Campus and outreach opportunities in multiple cities in Texas including Mt. Pleasant, Midland and Odessa.

Applicants with a broad interest in pediatric hematology/oncology are encouraged to apply. Those with a background or passion for bone marrow transplant or brain tumors are of particular interest.
