TheDivision of Orthopedic Surgery at The Baylor Scott and White Roney Bone andJoint Institute is seeking a full-time BE/BCOrthopedic Oncology Surgeon to join an outstanding orthopedic surgeryprogram at our rapidly growing Orthopedics practice in Temple, TX. 


TheBaylor Scott & White Roney Bone and Joint Institute's orthopedic oncologyteam and Temple's Sarcoma Services diagnose and treat cancers and benignconditions of the bone, cartilage and soft tissues in patients of all ages. Ourcomprehensive, multidisciplinary sarcoma services include providers in allmajor disciplines including musculoskeletal oncology, surgical oncology,pathology, medical oncology, pediatric oncology, pediatric surgery, radiationoncology, musculoskeletal radiology, and genetics, among other supportingservice lines.


Qualifications:

-       Orthopedic Oncologyfellowship training is preferred.

-       Level1 Trauma Call coverage is shared amongst the department.

-       Experiencein process improvement is beneficial.

-       CJR/BundledPayment knowledge is a plus.

-       Interestin training residents is required.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by theTexas Medical Board
  • Employee shall be currently board certified in his or herspecialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined bythe appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties orthe Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
