Job Posting Description

This Research Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating research studies  which are focused on drug studies, natural history of disease progression, and other ongoing research areas.
  • Clinical responsibilities include patient evaluation, nursing assessment and facilitates care for clinical research patients
  • Communicating with IRB, research study teams, patients, families, and health care providers.
  • Create Prescriptions and Orders for all studies
  • Track and coordinate laboratory values
  • Coordinate with Pharmacy
  • Coordinate with Clinical Trials Unit  
  • Coordinate nursing care of study subjects
  • Communication with sponsors, regulatory authorities, vendors, and other clinical research organizations
  • Working 40 hours a week Monday – Friday (no weekends no holidays)

To qualify, you must have:

  • BSN degree.
  • 1 year RN experience required. (Prior research experience, and pediatric RN experience strongly preferred)
  • Computer skills adequate for grant preparation and database input.

Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.
