The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist for a full-time academic position as Assistant Professor at the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center, West Virginia University, Charleston Campus.
Job duties include:
Provide clinical care
Teach medical students and residents in the area of Pediatric Hematology Oncology
Scholarly activities are highly encouraged

MD, DO degree or foreign equivalent degree from an accredited program
Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics
Eligible for WV Medical License
Willingness to participate in appropriate academic, clinical research or other scholarly activity as may be required of clinical faculty

Charleston students and residents also benefit from a 7,000 foot simulation center featuring state-of-the-art sim-man and sim-baby simulators capable of a variety of crisis and assessment scenarios. Our physicians not only practice medicine, they are committed to teaching it as well.
