AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for a dynamic Pediatric Neuro Oncologist to join our team of pediatric cancer specialists based at The Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando, Florida.  The ideal candidate would have clinical experience post pediatric neuro oncology fellowship and be interested in an active clinical opportunity.  The Program Leader would help to lead the dedicated outpatient neuro oncology practice, protocols, research, and marketing and work with our devoted team of oncologists, pediatric neurosurgeons and radiation oncologists.  The new physician would also share in the inpatient service rotation with our pediatric hematology oncology team.  We also have over 200 families in our Neurofibromatosis multi-disciplinary program that is currently housed in the pediatric oncology program.  Our hospital is part of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) and actively participates in over 40 open COG clinical trials.

Working with an expanding children’s hospital, an established and successful pediatric hematology /oncology group with a strong referral base, a dedicated inpatient unit, a family-centered practice atmosphere, and a competitive benefits / compensation package are just a few of the many reasons why this is an excellent career opportunity to consider.

Practice Description

This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, 403b retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance. This practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG).  AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 600+ physicians in 60+ specialties. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.
