About Cook Children's Health Care System
Cook Children's is one of the largest freestanding pediatric health care systems in the country. Our complete network of care includes a medical center, pediatric surgery centers, specialty clinics, pediatrician offices, urgent care centers and an emergency department. We also have a retail pharmacy and home health locations across the state of Texas.
At Cook Children's, we all work together as a team to make a difference in the lives of patients and families.
Everyone at Cook Children's is guided by an inspiring promise, "Knowing that every child's life is sacred, it is the promise of Cook Children's to improve the health of every child in our region through the prevention and treatment of illness disease and injury."
We have a rich history that began nearly 100 years ago, and throughout that century, we have been supported by a community that values our honesty, hard work and determination. We are very grateful for that support and we are driven in our desire to give back to our community through programs and initiatives that benefit children who may not otherwise have access to quality health care.
Because our service area covers nearly half the state of Texas (or b...igger than the entire state of New Mexico), our "region" often extends way beyond Fort Worth or even Texas. The Cook Children's community includes families from across the United States and even from around the world. Regardless of the distance, parents have chosen Cook Children's as their destination because of our ability to combine the art of caring with the use of leading-edge technology.
