We are recruiting for three Pediatric Hematology Oncology Clinician/Investigators to join our faculty.
First position: A clinical oncologist to join an exceptional team working to expand translational research, including collaborative early phase therapies for oncology, immunotherapeutics, and other important translational areas. The position will include inpatient and outpatient time with the goal of developing investigator sponsored studies and translational research.
Second position: A clinical/translational physician-investigator in hemoglobinopathies. This individual will join a multidisciplinary team of basic scientists, translational researchers, and clinicians working to understand the pathophysiology of sickle cell disease and improve outcomes for patients through the development of innovative new therapies for hemoglobinopathy disorders.
Third position: A clinical neuro-oncologist to lead and grow the neuro-oncology program within oncology by working to expand translational research, including collaborative early phase therapies, immunotherapeutics, and other important translational areas. The position will include inpatient and outpatient time with the goal of developing investigator sponsored studies and translational research within the neuro-oncology program and in conjunction with the oncology program.
Successful applicants will be either early investigators with exceptional training and outstanding potential, or more experienced researchers with track records of conducting clinical trials in pediatric hematology/oncology. The appointments will be made at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in the Health Sciences Clinical or Clinical X series, depending on the candidate’s background and career goals.
