The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Seattle Children’s Hospital is recruiting one (1) full time or (2) part time Pediatric Hematology-Oncology attending(s) to join the Acute Care Oncology team in Seattle, Washington. Position is part time (50%) or full-time (100%) at the Clinical Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor level. These positions have a 12 month service period, and are reappointed on an annual basis. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Anticipated start date is July, 2019.
Responsibilities include providing in-hospital overnight attending care for medical issues arising in Hematology, Oncology, and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) patients, and supervision and clinical teaching of residents. Applicants should be comfortable with the inpatient care of sick children.
