The CHOC Children’s Specialists is seeking a Pediatric Hematologist to join our well-established division of Hematology. This is a busy hematology service with enormous potential for professional growth and fulfillment. The practice serves a population base in excess of 3,500,000 people. In this position, you will join seven board certified pediatric hematologists and participate in a shared call arrangement. The practice offers a full range of Pediatric Hematology services, providing expert, innovative and compassionate care for infants, children, adolescents, and, in some specialties, adults.
Clinical and translational research is encouraged. The Hematology Division also directs the Blood and Donor Center, Stem Cell Collection, Therapeutic Apheresis and has its own CAP / CLIA Hematology Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory certified in general hematology, flow cytometry, and molecular diagnostics. Opportunities to teach include an excellent pediatric residency and fellowship training program with the University of California, Irvine, at which physicians also enjoy joint faculty positions.
