The Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center has an immediate opening for an assistant or associate professor in the division of pediatric hematology oncology. We are interested in candidates with a wide range of interests, including malignant solid tumors, leukemia, and stem cell transplantation.
The Children’s Hospital serves 25 counties with a catchment of approximately 3 million; the only full service Children’s Hospital in eastern NY and western New England, from Montreal to the New York metropolitan area. We have active programs in Neuro-Oncology, Hemophilia, Sickle Cell Disease, Leukemia, late effects, and malignant solid tumors and a total of 6 clinical faculty members. Our recently renovated hematology-oncology unit is HEPA filtered and set up to provide a full range of care. There are opportunities to collaborate with the adult hematology-oncology program as well as basic scientists at Albany Medical College.
