Johns Hopkins All Children's Cancer & Blood Disorders Institute (CBDI) in St. Petersburg, FL is recruiting for a night hospitalist physician.
Overnight management of inpatient pediatric hematology, oncology and blood/marrow transplant (BMT) patients, working with at home on-call hematologist/oncologist and BMT physicians.
Management and disposition of hematology, oncology and BMT patients presenting to the Emergency Center at JHACH during evening hours.
Fielding phone calls from parents of our patients and outside physicians during evening hours.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing academic hematology/oncology program with a premier academic medical institution.
Potential candidates must have completed or will complete an accredited pediatric residency program and ideally a pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship program by July 1, 2018. Those who have completed a pediatric residency but not a fellowship will still be considered. Experience in caring for inpatient pediatric patients at high levels of acuity is preferred. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with an attending level position with academic appointment at the assistant professor level.
