We are actively recruiting for hospitalist physicians in the Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Responsibilities include:
Overnight management of inpatient pediatric patients, working in concert with inpatient medical team and attending of record.
Supervision and education of pediatric residents on overnight shifts
Management and disposition of ambulatory patients presenting to the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center evenings and weekends.
Members of the hospitalist physician team will be expected to participate in the various areas that contribute to the academic mission of the department, including clinical research, administration, education, and quality assurance/quality improvement.
Potential candidates must have completed or will complete an accredited pediatric residency program and pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship program by July 1, 2018. Experience in caring for inpatient pediatric patients at high levels of acuity is preferred. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with an attending level position with academic appointment at the Clinical Instructor level.
