The Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School is seeking two clinical Pediatric Neuro-Oncologists to join the Pediatric Brain Tumor Center at the either the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Center at Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Hospital Cancer and Blood Disorders Center (DF/BCH) is a multi-disciplinary quaternary program that is comprised of a full complement of specialized medical, surgical and psychosocial staff to care for pediatric brain tumor patients, their siblings and families. Approximately 120+ new brain tumor patients are seen each year at DF/BCH. The research environment is active in investigational clinical trials and collaborates extensively with industry. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is also a member of the PNOC Consortium and the COG Phase I consortium. This clinical position will include the opportunity for clinical research, with the opportunity to work in the development and oversight of clinical trials. The faculty member will work closely with the Experimental Therapeutics Program and the Clinical Trial Investigational Program at the DF/BCH, as well as with translational biologists, epidemiologists or other investigators within the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, depending upon career focus. Candidates should be BC/BE in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology with additional experience and/or fellowship in Neuro-Oncology.
