The Section of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at Yale University School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time faculty position in our US News and World Report-recognized Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program at Yale School of Medicine. The position will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level-clinical educator track. Our growing program has developed areas of excellence in recent years in stem cell transplant, neuro oncology, cancer survivorship, sickle cell disease, coagulation, Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology, and palliative care. The ideal candidate will contribute to the ongoing development of an academic, clinically focused program in an area of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and will interact collaboratively with basic and translational investigators in the Yale Cancer Center. The candidate will also help in the development of Yale’s expansion into the wider region to serve our patients’ needs; thus there are options for clinics not only at the main New Haven campus but also within the region. Yale’s Pediatric Oncology Program is an established and fully approved member of Children’s Oncology Group.
Candidates should be board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor is anticipated. The position will become available July 1, 2017.
